UnReview

I lay blinking my eyes a gazillion times, I must have caused at least a few tornadoes (frikkin hypothesis from Chaos theory), knowing that I didn't have a clue what to do. I was bored. The movie Speedracer I'd whipped off a torrent was in Spanish!! Ever since I came to know about his law I've cursed Murphy so much that, if metaphors were to come true the Earth's magnetic field has probably peaked by the poor soul turning in his grave.
Add to it the preposterous reality that it's easier to come across pondy on the internet than zany, irrereverent humour.
But even in the wast wilderness of the internet where many a souls have lost not just themselves but even their shadows, there is always a scintillating beacon of delusive hope. [ If that doesn't get me the Bulwer-Lytton what will?]. Well in this case it happened to be the alluringly brazen Uncyclopedia, that ever annoying pre-teen sister of Wikipedia.
It's a wonder how a place that offers such ungoverned freedom of speech can ever produce anything sensible. Well as rational probability took a toss, I read about the discovery of o-trons ( or.. are they O-trons ?), dishwashers and Gandhi committing a mass homicide (great read).

Since I've been reading Kafka's Metamorphosis for about a year or two now and never gotten to a double figure page number, the UnBook on My_New_Life_as_a_T-Rex was a bit inviting. For one the opening lines are cannily similar. Then again, this is a page-long "book"; probably for dummies.
In any case it's a great read for people who like this kind of humour. In case you missed out on all the irony and the satire/parody of pseudo-victimising the protagonist ( who inhabits a strange dark world - confused, in need of attention and mostly loveless) for art's sake, you can still enjoy
the barb in the tail.

P.S: In case you are having one of those days follow the links on the sidebar for some of the greatest humor on the net.
