Today I learned that, some of my favourite Bollywood songs are not original compositions :(
1. Kaisi paheli hai yeh - from Parineeta - is actually based on Louis Armstrong's 'Give me a kiss to build a dream on'
2. Chod aye hum - from Maachis - inspired by Nicola Piovani's Il campo di pallone
Also, glad to have come across Louis Armstrong's songs (especially the ones with Ella Fitzgerald) :)
